A FILM (Feature, Short or Web-based) that is an Official Selection of Las Vegas International Film and Screenwriting Festival receives an Official Selection laurel.

Winners of each category (we have 27 feature categories and two (3) short categories, a web-based category, a standalone musical score category) will receive laurels.

​

Best Overall Film winner will receive a $100.00 gift certificate.

​

If a FILM (Feature, Short or Web-based) is selected as a genre Finalist (up to 5 in each category - 10 in the Short Category) - The cast and crew will be eligible to be nominated for the following awards:

Best Director
Best Cinematography
Best Film Editing
Best Musical Score
Best Actress in a Leading Role
Best Actor in a Leading Role
Best Actress in a Supporting Role
Best Actor in a Supporting Role
Best Makeup and Hairstyling
Best Costume Design

Nominees receive Official Selection laurels (sent via email).

​

Winners receive a winner’s laurel and plaques are available at cost and mailing fees.

​

Duplicate awards are available to all filmmakers. Please check with the Festival Director for pricing and shipment information.

​

Each film whose project is named an "OFFICIAL SELECTION" gets an A FESTIVAL PASS, which gets them access to screenings (except private or charity), seminars, filmmaker Q and As, and both awards shows (film and screenwriting).
